Young the Giant with Cold War Kids Yuengling Center, Tampa — 6:30 PMIf you haven't seen Young the Giant live, this is a good one to catch. They're touring behind their new material with Cold War Kids as support — a solid double bill for anyone into indie/alternative. Indoor venue, good sound.

Hank Williams Jr. — MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre 4802 US Hwy 301 N, Tampa — 6:30 PMHank Jr. at the amphitheater is a summer classic. Outdoor show, big stage, and a catalog that basically plays itself. If you grew up on country or just want a big ol' live music night, this is the one.
First Friday Art Walk — Downtown Gulfport Thursday Fridays, 5–9 PM — FreeGulfport's First Friday is a quiet gem — local artists, gallery openings, street vendors, and the kind of laid-back vibe that makes you remember why people love living here. Free admission, easy parking, and walkable.

England vs. New Zealand — Raymond James Stadium 4201 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa — 4:00 PMThis is the big one. England's national team, under Thomas Tuchel, comes to Tampa for a FIFA World Cup 2026 warm-up match against New Zealand. This is a full international — not an exhibition — and Tampa doesn't get matches like this often. Tickets are still available through resellers. Worth it if you're any kind of soccer fan.

St. Pete Pride — Family Day on the Pier St. Pete Pier, 600 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg — 10 AM–2 PM — FreePride Month is here, and St. Pete knows how to do it right. Family Day on the Pier features kid-friendly activities, the 2nd Annual Pet Parade, and community resources along the waterfront. Free, all-ages, and a good way to spend a Sunday morning.
The Florida Orchestra at the Straz Carol Morsani Hall, Tampa — 2:00 PMIf your Sunday needs a different vibe — classical at the Straz. The Florida Orchestra is consistently excellent, and the Morsani Hall sounds great from almost any seat.
