Beetlejuice the Musical — Now Through Sunday, June 14
If you've been on the fence about Beetlejuice, this is your last week.
The Broadway tour is at Carol Morsani Hall at the Straz Center through June 14, with shows Tuesday through Sunday. It's Tim Burton's ghost story done as a big, loud, funny musical — the kind that works whether you saw the original film a hundred times or you're walking in cold.
Show times vary: 7:30 PM on weeknights, matinees on the weekend. Tickets at strazcenter.org. If you haven't looked at prices recently, the Straz has decent midweek availability.

Tampa International Fringe Festival — Through June 21
Tampa Fringe runs all week and into next weekend, with shows at two venues in Ybor City: Kress Contemporary and The Commodore.Over 30 productions across theatre, dance, stand-up, and kids' programming — and most tickets are under $20. Fringe is the kind of festival where you pick three shows you've never heard of and end up discovering something. The full lineup and schedule is at tampafringe.com.
If you haven't made it down to Ybor for Fringe yet, this weekend is your window before it wraps next Sunday.

World Cup USA Watch Party — Thursday Night, Al Lang Stadium (St. Pete)
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is here, and the USA's opening group stage match against Paraguay gets a proper watch party treatment at Al Lang Stadium on the St. Pete waterfront.
Thursday, June 12, 9 PM. $10 to get in. That's the waterfront, a big screen, and an American soccer crowd in a soccer-specific stadium — good setup for the first match of the tournament. This is the kind of community moment that doesn't come around often. Worth showing up for, even if you're not a hardcore soccer fan.
