The back half of July doesn't slow down. This week opens with back-to-back arena nights at Benchmark, pivots into one of Pinellas County's most popular annual traditions, and closes with the Black Keys in Clearwater on a Tuesday night. Here's what's happening.

Wednesday, July 22 | Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire at Benchmark International Arena

If you've ever said "I grew up listening to this," this is your night. Lionel Richie and Earth, Wind & Fire are sharing a stage at Benchmark for a co-headline show that covers four decades of R&B, funk, and pop you already know every word to. Showtime is 7:30 PM. This one will sell out if it hasn't already, so check availability early.

Thursday, July 23 | Daniel Caesar at Benchmark International Arena

The very next night, Benchmark hosts Daniel Caesar with Faye Webster opening. Two very different artists, both worth showing up early for. Caesar's catalog runs smooth and doesn't rush. Webster is one of the more underrated live acts going right now. Doors at 7 PM.

Also Thursday: High Fade brings the Twice as Nice Tour to Crowbar in Ybor. If the arena shows aren't your thing, Crowbar's a better room for catching something before it blows up.

Friday, July 24 | Graphic Worlds Opening Weekend at Imagine Museum, St. Pete

The Imagine Museum in St. Pete opens Graphic Worlds, a new exhibition built around anime and comic book glass art. The opening weekend festival runs Friday evening from 5 to 9 PM. Costumes are welcome. It's a genuinely different night out, especially if you know someone who'll go full cosplay and commit to the bit.

The exhibition stays up beyond the opening weekend, but the launch party has its own energy.

Saturday, July 25 | Bolts Brew Fest at Benchmark Arena

Benchmark goes full beer hall on Saturday afternoon. The Tampa Bay Lightning's annual Bolts Brew Fest is a 21+ event with unlimited pours from 50+ breweries. This is the kind of event where you want to eat before you go and pick out your designated driver on Thursday.

It happens inside Benchmark, which is climate-controlled, which matters a lot when it's July in Florida.

July 25–27 | 727 Day Across Pinellas County

This is the annual celebration of the 727 area code, and Visit St. Pete-Clearwater turns it into a three-day window of 100+ deals and specials at restaurants, bars, attractions, and shops across the county. Previous years have seen two-for-ones at museums, $7.27 specials on food and drinks, and discounts at spots that almost never run promotions.

Saturday–Sunday, July 25–26 | Christmas in July at the Florida State Fairgrounds

The Florida State Fairgrounds hosts its annual Christmas in July indoor show, which is exactly what it sounds like. Vendors, holiday gifts, seasonal decor, and air conditioning. It's one of those events that draws a mix of serious shoppers and people who just want to do something different on a Saturday. Doors open at 10 AM both days.

Tuesday, July 28 | The Black Keys at The BayCare Sound, Clearwater

The week ends on a Tuesday night in Clearwater, which is honestly a great way to do it. The Black Keys are bringing the Peaches 'N Kream World Tour to The BayCare Sound. Tickets start at $49. It's an outdoor amphitheater show, so the breezes off the water help, but bring something to keep the sun off if you're going early.

The BayCare Sound is one of the better outdoor venues in the region. Parking's manageable if you get there early.

That's the week. You've got R&B legends, a rising R&B star, a glass art exhibition, unlimited craft beer, three days of county-wide deals, and a rock duo closing it out. Not bad for late July.
